Ask Rex Beerbot!Below are some questions I have received from emails. I get heaps of email every day but I try to answer as many question as I can. How ya doing Rex, Hello I have seen men's style shirts that button off to the
side on an angle rather than straight up and down. do you know where i
can get a few While I ain't certain, but I think you may be talkin about Bib Shirts,
you can find a few of em here this link here at Sheplers: Dear Rex, Howdy, I my personal opinion, I think Harness boots go fantastic with formal wear. Though harness boots aren't the usual cowboy boots, they will become quite the conversation piece when you wear them with a tux and cowboy hat (I have some black harness boots and a black cowboy hat)! However I have my standard pair of brown harness motorcycle boots which I wear when riding my hog across the country. So I bought a great belt buckle but don't get how to wear
it with a normal belt. Do I need a belt that has no buckle?? L, I feel yer pain. I was given a real nice Mack Truck buckle from the depression era. Seems like the buckles from that time don't match the belts from today! Some leather outlets will sell belts without the buckles but I ended up getting a buddy who does a bit of leather work to fashion a custom belt for me. He's done a couple of custom belts for me cause its hard to find a belt big enough for my glorious gut! Good Luck to ya! Where can I buy black long sleeve western shirts? Well, I pretty much do all my western shoppin' at SHEPLERS-The
World's Largest Online Western Store Rex, how can i get a beer gut like yours? Do you have a secret? Nope, no secret - just drink alot of beer and by all means avoid lite beer, its from the devil! Could you tell me when the pointed toes were put on cowboy
boots? I know what year the square and round toe boot began but the pointed
toes. Why did they put pointed toes on boots? Thank you. Howdy there. I actually may have the answer for ya here, this from another cowboy boot site of mine The Northampton Museum in England, foremost in its collection of shoemaking, exhibits of a pair of 1630 boots with high tops, 2-inch heels and pointed toes, and significantly in keeping with the era, they were straights – i.e. neither right nor left. As far as why they put them pointed toes, I haven't the foggiest. I've heard there are easier to put in stirrups that way. But I I have a buddy who says they made 'em that way so you squash cockroaches and other vermin in the corner of yer room! |
